Community Residences in West Orange, Orange and Maplewood provide around-the-clock guidance, supervision and support to adults with developmental disabilities so that they can enjoy the benefits of life in a secure and homelike setting. Five additional community residences are currently under development.  

A 24-unit apartment building in Newark, Essex Properties, offers independent living facilities to low-income adults with disabilities who can live on their own but who need some social service supports.
