Purna Rodman Conare
President & CEOPurna is a proven leader with more than 30 years of experience in complex health and human services organizations. He has served as President and CEO of the Kennedy-Donovan Center in Foxboro, Massachusetts, Executive Director at ActionAIDS in Philadelphia and as Director of Finance and Controller at Daniel Freeman Hospitals in Los Angeles. He oversees all aspects of the agency’s operations.
V.P. of ProgramsTammy joined the CPNJ team in 2017 as the Vice President of Programs. Tammy has more than 20 years of program management experience. Most recently, Tammy was the Regional Director of Middlesex and Union Counties at SERV Behavioral Health System. She oversees all agency programs serving adults with disabilities, including the agency’s adult day programs, community residences and community services.
V.P. of Finance & Chief Financial OfficerRick Bornstein joined CPNJ in November of 2016 with more than 40 years of experience in Senior Financial Management. He has served as CFO of a Medicaid funded long-term home health agency and then of a community housing agency. Most recently he lead the financial operations of Kennedy-Donovan Center in Massachusetts. Rick manages CPNJ’s 36 million dollar budget and the agency’s finance department.
David Bishop, MPA
V.P. for Development & CommunicationsDavid has worked in nonprofit development for more than 20 years, including the last 10 with CPNJ. He oversees the agency’s fundraising activities, as well as press releases, website and social network outreach, publications and CPNJ’s volunteer program.
V.P. for Human ResourcesPatti joined CPNJ in 2015, bringing with her more than 20 years of HR experience, including the last 14 years with Barnabas Health Home Care and Hospice. She manages a team of five staff members responsible for meeting the needs of more than 800 full- and part-time employees spread across 19 different program locations.
V.P. of EducationJoe joined CPNJ in 2017, bringing to us 30 years of experience as an educator and administrator, including serving as Principal with the CTC Academy (formerly Children's Therapy Center) in Fair Lawn and St. Joseph's School for the Blind in Jersey City. In his capacity as Vice President of Education, he serves as Principal of Horizon High School and also oversees the overall operation of both Horizon Elementary School and Horizon High School, ensuring a unified program and continuity of service for our students.
