Today kicks off Direct Support Professional Recognition Week. This is a week-long celebration in recognition of the dedication and accomplishments of outstanding Direct Support Professionals and their vital contribution to communities across the country. DSP’s are at the center of all we do as an agency, assuring that the people we support are cared for and receive the highest quality services at all times. You make CPNJ great and mean the world to us your co-workers, the people we support and their families. As a token of our appreciation, throughout the week we will be highlighting the different programs throughout our agency that rely on the abilities of our spectacular Direct Support Professionals to thrive. Follow along on social media by using and tracking the hashtag #DSPRW2019
Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey (CPNJ) is dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and other special needs by supporting personal growth, independence and participation in the community.
With the new school year upon us, volunteers from Horizon High School’s “Hot Wheels Ballroom Dance” program practiced a new dance step in preparation for this semester’s recital. Can’t wait to see our students perfect a new routine throughout the fall! Special thanks to the American DanceWheels Foundation, Avaya Charitable Fund, Dove Seton Hall and CPNJ volunteers for making this program possible.
