Governor Dick Codey turned out to present honoree Barry R. Mandelbaum with the 2012 Steps to Independence Award at our annual gala on October 17th at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston. The event was the most successful fundraiser in CPNJ history- drawing more than 350 guests and raising over $538,000! Thank you to Barry Mandelbaum, Event Co-Chairs Alan Hammer, Steven Katz and Kelly Marx, the members of the event committee and everyone who so generously supported the event.
Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey (CPNJ) is dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and other special needs by supporting personal growth, independence and participation in the community.
CPNJ has a wonderful opportunity for both Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists. On November 9th at Horizon High School from 8:15am – 4:00 pm, Nancy S. Darr, PT, DSc, NCS, a national expert in Pediatric assessments, will lead a conference introducing participants to the use of standardized assessments in occupational and physical therapy.
