Al-Tariq was one of the first individuals to join the Orange Adult Training Center almost 13 years ago. He was initially very uncomfortable around other people. He was very reluctant to take part in many social activities, and would often let his emotions get the better of him. If you meet this young man today, you will meet a very mannered, gentle person who loves to give out hugs. He is always enthusiastic about helping staff in any way he can, and is a great friend to everyone in the center.

Celebrating 60 Years – Faces of CPNJ #6

Steven has emerged as a hard-working young man. He is extremely motivated and enthusiastic in the classroom and in therapy. He works on his job skills each week, traveling to a local Burger King to clean tables and chairs and, most recently, to the Gap to sort clothing. Steven’s future is bright, and we can’t wait to see what he can achieve!
