Through the coordination of Jersey Cares, the group home residents were treated to a morning of fun activities to celebrate Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 16th. Volunteers included representatives of Eli Lilly, Green Mountain Coffee, NJCASA, Americorps and individuals from the community. Special thanks to volunteer Carole Asymkos, the Jersey Cares project coordinator for this event. To see more pictures from this event, check out our facebook page!
Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey (CPNJ) is dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and other special needs by supporting personal growth, independence and participation in the community.
The Aidan K Foundation purchased over 40 holiday gifts for children in our Early Intervention program. For the second year, their efforts ensured that every child in EIP would have a present to open on Christmas morning. The Aidan K Foundation supports CPNJ throughout the year through volunteering and fundraising.
Thank you to all of the supporters of this organization, as well as to our therapists who referred children and delivered the gifts.
