Just before the holidays, Chef Cardi came to our Orange Adult Training Center to do our first Culinary Therapy show! The consumers enjoyed a menu of cheddar cheese soup with homemade croutons, sandwiches and fresh fruit with a ginger yogurt. Everyone loved the show; we hope to do it again. Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey (CPNJ) is dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and other special needs by supporting personal growth, independence and participation in the community.
On December 7th, CPNJ’s AAC/AT Department hosted a meeting for NJCART. This meeting, open to the public, featured the Department’s own Julie Johnston and Melissa Tuleya as guest speakers for a presentation on the considerations for choosing switch type and placement and supporting switch users with free and low cost resources found on the Internet.
