JUMPSTART! is Back at Horizon Elementary

Yesterday, Horizon Elementary School kicked off the spring session of it’s JUMPSTART! Early Intervention Therapeutic Play Group! In this introductory group, Horizon therapy staff helped children and their families navigate through a sensory obstacle course. The session incorporated motor planning and developmental transitions like sitting, rolling, and crawling to encourage the children to enjoy moving. Therapists also provided our guests the opportunity to experience a variety of positioning and seating systems frequently utilized by Horizon therapists in the school’s state-of-the-art sensory room. Special thanks to all of our early intervention families for coming out and enjoying in the fun. If you are interested in being put on the waiting list for our fall session of JUMPSTART!, please contact Hetty Kintiroglou at (973) 740 2353 ext. 2140 or via email at

Thank you also to Teresa Hatch for all of her hard work. And thank you to everyone – for your ticket purchases, your generous donations of raffle prizes, and your time.
