CPNJ mourns the loss of our dear friend AnnMarie Micchelli

CPNJ mourns the loss of our dear friend AnnMarie Micchelli (seen here with her family at the Horizon High School tricky tray). AnnMarie was the administrative assistant at Horizon High School for many years. Her passion for supporting our students was an inspiration to us all. She was the driving force behind the school’s tricky tray fundraiser, which has raised tens of thousands of dollars for the school. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 9:00am at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road in Fairfield. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00am at the St. Thomas More Church. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday 4:00pm-8:00pm. AnnMarie requested that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to CPNJ.

Life Skills Room Nears Completion

Horizon Elementary School’s new life skills room is near completion. Freshly painted walls and new flooring await the installation of home appliances, including a refrigerator, stove, washer and dryer. Special thanks to CPNJ’s 2019 Steps to Independence Celebration honoree Mike Petillo for sponsoring the room, as well as Alston Construction and their subcontractors for their pro bono work. The grand opening is scheduled for September 24th.
