CPNJ employs 13 nurses that deliver services at Horizon School, Horizon High School, our three adult day programs and six community residences. All of our nurses report to a Healthcare Coordinator, who oversees the delivery of healthcare services throughout the agency.
Nurses handle a broad and complex range of medical issues, including responding to seizures, tube feedings, administering medications, tracheostomy tubes and nebulizer treatments. At our Horizon Schools, they coordinate four medical clinics each year as well as five pediatric psychiatry clinics and five low-vision clinics.
